Well, I have been blogging on and off for the past 5-6 years, and over time I have changed, so has the world. My Amazon wishlist from 2008, yes that was 5 years ago, crazy right, reads thus:
Its funny how my life has changed and also, how I only wanted games and items of a gaming nature then. Actually, I did have a Harry Potter Series Box Set on there too, but my screen muncher could not accommodate that.
First of all, 2008 seems like just yesterday, OMG, 5 years, that means the year 2000 was 12 years ago, OMG. It all seems so fast. I remember the year 2000, I was 15. I was a baby who knew nothing. Not that I know much now. But back then I thought I knew everything and that there was really nothing I could learn from life. And the difference now, is that even though I know more than I did then, I accept that life continues to surprise us with unexpected twists and turns around every corner.
Anyway I am digressing here from my original post about my wishlist. The other point I want to make is I do currently possess/have possessed most of the items on there except Wii Fit on which I blame my ever expanding waistline to, not the heavy junk food intake and the love of all things fried. If only I had WiiFit, I wouldn’t be a fat lazy slob. That;s bull and I know that, we make so many excuses to explain why we are the way we are. If we devoted even a little time to bettering ourselves, OUR lives would be so much easier and better, but we just spend all day moaning and bemoaning about the things we don’t have and we probably never will. Honestly the best approach is to just get out there and do it. Whatever it is. Just do it.
My third point from my wishlist is that if today I had to make a wishlist, I honestly don’t know what to put on there. It’s not like I have everything I need, but then again I don’t need/want anything so badly that I cannot live without and would cause me to be dearly upset about it. I do need a new phone becauze my Blackberry refuses to charge and has an independent life therefore just decides to take time off whenever it wants. But, nothing of great importance, minor details.
As such I am not a collector of anything, I don’t follow any sports regularly, I basically have no interest in life. Did I have interests in the past? I can’t remember. What sort of person am I? I wonder to myself at times.
If you had to make a wishlist, what would you put in it?
P.S. I am deleting my old wishlist.
